Comfort Path Training Academy Institutional Policies
1. Attendance and Virtual Tracking Policy
Because our programs feature live, synchronous instruction via Zoom and Google Meet, mandatory attendance of at least 85% of live sessions is strictly required to qualify for graduation and credential exam eligibility.
Attendance is automatically tracked down to the minute via digital platform entry logs.
Students missing more than the permitted hours will be placed on academic probation and must coordinate virtual make-up sessions with an instructor to satisfy state training hour requirements.
2. Distance Learning Competency Verification
Technical healthcare skills are systematically verified via live, interactive video feedback. Instructors utilize objective, multi-angle webcam observations to grade individual student performance against standard clinical rubrics. Students must achieve a passing score on all core practical skill checklists (e.g., patient transfer protocols, sterile environment setups) to receive their final certificate.
3. WIOA Institutional Refund Policy
For students funded through the federal Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) via Individual Training Accounts (ITAs), refunds, drops, and official program withdrawals are managed in strict compliance with the rules set by the student's local state Department of Labor.
If a student officially withdraws from a program after classes begin, the unearned portion of the tuition voucher will be calculated using clock-hour milestones and returned directly to the issuing workforce development board. Standard out-of-pocket tuition refunds follow a pro-rated matrix based on the percentage of course access used before written notification is received.
